I've been hearing this rumor a lot lately, possibly because of the smash success of Twilight. I haven't seen any quotes from Joss to confirm this though but I've been hearing a lot about the possiblity from random people and a few websites here and there.

Anyone else hear anything? poke

I heard this rumor too. I think they are referring to something separate from the Ripper movie because there was mention of Sarah Michelle Gellar being in it and I don't think she was scheduled to be in the Ripper movie. Maybe we'll see both but I don't think so. I haven't heard anything about the Ripper movie in months now.
